Genomics Into Medicine’s Funding Mission

A major goal of the Genomics Into Medicine program is to generate a sustainable funding base for clinical genomics in Auckland through the provision of seed funding for pilot projects.

Funding rounds are held once or twice each year and applications are accepted for research in a range of medical genomics-related fields including, but not limited to, the following: constitutional genetics, cancer genomics, genetic counselling, systems biology/computational evolution in genomic medicine, and social, cultural, legal and ethical issues in genomic medicine.
